DNS Server Setup
Email Accounts
With every JVDS account, you get at least one POP3 mailbox which is hosted on your assigned server. You basic email address is in the form of username@hostname.jvds.com. We offer a number of ways to access your email which include:
» POP3 - For storing email on your computer
» IMAP - Used to store email on the server
» WebMail - Read email over the web
» Shell Session - Read your email from your shell account
POP3
To access your email via POP3 you need to setup your mail client (Outlook Express, Netscape Mail, etc.). Please use the following setting:

IMAP
To access your email via IMAP you need to setup your IMAP client (Outlook Express, Netscape Mail, etc.) please use the following setting:

Webmail
Each JVDS.com server shell server has a webmail client installed at http://webmail.servername.65535.net.
At the time of writing these servers are:

To access the server just use your normal password/username. The webmail client itself is a wrapper around the IMAP server
which is installed on each machine so you all the email you sent/recieve will be kept on the server.
Shell Access
To access e-mail via your shell you have to use an IMAP compatible client. This includes pine and mutt.
